Condo-living is perfect for the family; the amenities and perks like playgrounds, swimming pools and gardens are especially enjoyed by the kids. But just like in any kind of home, it’s not enough that the kids enjoy; their safety is still the top priority.
When living with kids, one must be extra careful and always take safety measures. Here are a few tips to make your condo child-friendly so your kids can be kids, without you having to worry about them:
Rounded Furniture
As much as possible, choose furniture that have round edges since this can cause less harm to your kids compared to when they bump into sharp edges.

Coat Hooks
Designate a separate rack of coat hooks for the kids which level with their height. You can make it fun by designing them in cute shapes and colors! This way, your kids can hang their bags, hats and jackets themselves which also teaches them a sense of responsibility.

Toy Storage
If not an entire room or space for kids’ toys, storage boxes or baskets will do. You can design your own so that wherever your kids bring their toy box or basket, it won’t be out of place.

Carpeted floors are safer for kids, especially infants, because it’s anti-slip and it can serve as cushion incase anyone falls or anything is dropped. If you can’t make your whole condo carpeted, just put carpets where your kids usually play.
